Random

Hi there stranger, I know its been a long time. Life is passing by and time seems to fly. So many passing thoughts as usual getting lost in the swirl of this fast paced world. With time comes growth, with growth comes responsibilities and dependencies.

If you are not a part of the celebration its all plain noise... sigh.. and you use music to drown it out. Non stop music ... good.. Ok enough of random thoughts here. I digress as usual.

Hmm I was reading Khalil's teachings and I think I have blogged about this before too but nevertheless here it is again. Life will be better if one can adapt to this.

“Let there be spaces in your togetherness, And let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: Let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other's cup but drink not from one cup. Give one another of your bread but eat not from the same loaf. Sing and dance together and be joyous, but let each one of you be alone, Even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music. Give your hearts, but not into each other's keeping. For only the hand of Life can contain your hearts. And stand together, yet not too near together: For the pillars of the temple stand apart, And the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other's shadow.”
― Khalil Gibran, The Prophet

Long forgotten songs are being heard again...feeels good :)

Other day I was reading my 12th grade diary..I think it was 11th .. anyways made me want to start writing again. I would pour out every single thought in it, happiness , pain, incidents what not... So naive of me. But it was good. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time. So much life has passed by me, so much learnt. so many people met and lost. Some good some bad experiences. And I will move on without having left a mark behind. I hope not.

Thats it for now. Maybe will talk some more later.

And then there was hope...

I thought I was too tired. Too drained physically and mentally. I though I won't be able to write this post though I had so many things running through my mind.

I don't know how much I would be able to put it on this page but I'm glad at least I made an attempt.

On my way back from the studio this eve, I was worn and torn physically. But seeing certain things made me realize its not that bad at all. I reached out to help a blind boy to an empty seat. I watched a mechanic cleaning tyres in a tiny two wheeler garage. I saw a gol-guppa wala working to earn his daily bread. I just put myself in his position and tried to wonder, if I was that person how would I feel standing outside that MORE supermarket, going about my daily business. Would I be envious of those people driving by, loading their cars with shopping bags. Would I be envious of my customer with his pretty girl friend, fashionable clothes and funky gadgets. Or would I be content living my life, earning through my hard work.I don't know the answer to these. But what I do know is that life is just passing by as I moan. That I should rather be doing what I love than to crib bout what so many of them might not have.

I saw a few pics and post of Sudha Pillai and she just pushed me to come here and write this out. I know, just one topic can get me going. But I seem to run out of time and energy. Got an early start for tomorrow. There's a show tomorrow and I have three sequences to perform. I am excited and scared. Hope it goes well. Its been a long day today. And I think I have moaned enough.

Vacant thoughts

Words dont seem to flow when i want them too. Thoughts are stagnant. Life is life. Work is warshik :D hmmm i shouldn't say that. Its not that bad. But tomorrow i have to sit all day with Raghugaaru and explain stuff. Working close together with him is not something i look forward to. Day was pretty much ok. Regular. Maybe tomorrow i'll have something better to talk bout. Lets see

Long Time!

I know its been like really long. I haven't had the time nor patience to write. I have been a lot of things after coming back. Yes I'm back home! Home sweet home.

I have been happy to be home. I have been happy to meet all my loved ones. I have been super excited to meet few and some i have not yet met. And i am waiting to meet them up. My job sucks but i dont wanna complain too much because i am thankful to have one. I hate it at times cuz i was not getting the leave i deserved! Its more than 8 months since my last leave for crying out loud. To make matters worse i was logging in from home and working.

The weather is way too hot. I try not to complain too much as i dont want anyone to think oh i'm such a show off but its way too hot!! none of my cousins have showed up which is a little sad but i'll survive. Everybody had been super excited seeing their gifts. Especially aunts :) I tried my best to get something for all. But still i am not satisfied. But its OK I'm sure i'll get opportunities again for doing it better. I gave mom both the perfumes. Well she was telling bout not having any good ones. So I thought i'll buy something for myself later.Anyways its not like I am brand conscious, but i fell in love with a few fragrances. Versace and nina ricci :) sweet...

So where was I? Yes I've been happy, I've been frustrated a bit because of work. I've been confused at times because of my confusion which I am not ready to talk to anyone bout. I fear being judged. So I'll just be a hypocrite and i hate myself for this because I am the sole person to blame. And I'll just end up talking in riddles if i continue anymore. So chuck it.

I watched Rocket Singh and i liked it. It was a nice movie. I like things like simplicity, honesty and other regular human emotional stuff so that is probably why i liked it. And i never felt bored or that it was too long unlike the other opinions i had heard. Though generally girls tend to be biased to Ranbir, I liked him for what he played and not his looks. I liked the way they portrayed the concept of "money is not everything" . I had been wanting to do a post on it. But never got the chance. Maybe i will at some point later.

Monday is ajja's death ann, and lot of folks will show up and I dont want to do small talk. So not looking forward to it. Also talks bout how everyone my age are getting married and what not! uughh!!

Did I discuss my phase ? I dont remember. So yes, I am again going through one of my phases!! The constant one bout not wanting to get married. I just dont. Thats it. End of story.

edited to add: I just remembered one of R's status msg on FB.: "People who go through phases constantly are not going through it. Its just who they are!"
